No, every corner has a plastic cap.
This frame is powder coated and will resist rust for a long time. If it gets dented or scraped, it will begin to rust where there is exposed steel. I left mine outside all summer last year, and the only signs of rust stains were where the tubes connect. I greased up those areas of the tubes really good when I put it back together this year. This is a very heavy-duty frame. I've been happy with it.
I set up my hammock on the upstairs balcony at my condo. It was so easy to carry the pipe pieces upstairs and so easy to put the 5 pieces together. Instant hammock! It will also be that easy to take it down for winter storage. Definitely worth the money
Had to return a stand that looked to be more stable and purported to accommodate our 13' double hammock....which it did, if you prefer your seat on the ground. THIS product is the perfect solution and all the reviews that report issues, we have no indication of. Grateful to have this, especially in light of the first one that fell short...literally! This hammock is PERFECT! When it was shipped to me the box did get damaged and a pole was missing but after the company sent me a replacement I was able to put it together in 5 minutes! The two beams lay out and connect to the base pole by sliding in and the little metal button just needs to be aligned with the hole and pop in. Once you see that, it is ready to go to the next step which is inserting the next 2 upright beams the same way. SO easy!
This is a great quality and very sturdy hammock stand, it is rust resistant and powder coated to withstand different weathers outside.It was extremely easy to assemble , took 2 minutes and no tools, just had to clip in the spring pins. I am amazed how easy it was.this hammock stand is very portable and easy to assemble or dissemble. It is a much better option than hanging the hammock between 2 trees, this stand makes it more sturdy and minus falling hazards.it comes with 2 chains as an extender to attach the hammock, depending on how heavy the person is or how high I wish to keep my hammock, it can be adjusted accordingly.The set has 5 beams and 2 chains. The metal used is very good quality and heavy duty and it can hold 2 ppl or around 450 lbs.Overall i am extremely happy with the look and quality and this hammock stand. it is enjoyed by my whole family .i was provided this at discounted price in return for my honest opinion.
