Nothing like enjoying your swing in nature!

Between two trees

The traditional way to kick back in your hammock.

Between two trees
  • Choose Anchors: Select two sturdy trees, at least 12 inches in diameter and approx 12-20 feet apart.
  • l Install Straps: Wrap the tree straps around each trunk at chest-height (approx. 5-5.5 ft), which can protect the trees and prevent slipping.
  • l Attach Hammock: Connect the hammock's end chain securely to the loops on the tree straps with carabiners.
  • l Adjust & Sag: Fine-tune the strap height so the hammock has about 18-20 inches of ground clearance and a 30-degree sag for comfort.
  • l Final Check: Ensure all straps are flat and untwisted, and that all connections are tight.

While the hammock is often considered a garden or outdoor product, in South America it can be found in almost every home. Because an indoor hammock provides calm and comfort between your own four walls regardless of wind or weather outside.

Between Walls

Before You Start: Ensure you have two strong, load-bearing walls that can support at least 550lbs.

You Will Need: Eye bolts (or wall anchors/ceiling fixings), a drill, screwdriver, and carabiners.

Between Walls
  • Measure & Mark: Based on your hammock length (typically 9-13 ft end-to-end), measure and mark the two fixing points on the walls.
  • Drill & Install: At each mark, drill pilot holes and securely install the eye bolts or heavy-duty wall anchors into brick, concrete, or solid timber.
  • Attach & Adjust: Connect your hammock directly to the eye bolts using carabiners. If needed, add ropes or straps between the hammock and the anchors to fine-tune the height and sag until it forms a comfortable, deep curve.
  • Test Gently: Always apply gradual weight to test stability before fully relaxing.
  • Step in, lean back, and enjoy it.
