Step 1: Know What You Have
If you’re not sure about the size of the hammock or stand you already own, we’re happy to help you figure it out. Most hammocks and stands list their length in feet, which is the key number to get started. To ensure your hammock hangs safely and comfortably, both the hammock and the stand need to be accurately measured and properly matched.
For hammock measurements, use the distance from one hanging ring to the other. For stands, measure the total length from one end of the stand to the other. Below is an illustration to help you visualize these measurements, where the hammock size is 12 FT and the stand size is 13.5 FT.
